NCIA’s Vision
NCIA’s First Year Objectives To continue developing a technological venue for sustaining a modern and effective E-ssociation that allows for active member participation through the Internet. To establish industry priorities and create an industry advisory panel including one individual from the fields of law, technology, consumer activism and advocacy, automotive engineering, industry analysis and collision repair The advisory panel will provide members of the association with a broad perspective on priority issues and action plans.
Organizational Structure Speed and efficiency are essential prerequisites for confronting challenges as they arise, not months or years later. The goal of NCIA is to dispense with the burdensome non-profit bureaucracy and to create an alternative for-profit structure that does not rely on cumbersome committees or a board of directors. NCIA members will receive issue summaries and action plan synopsis via E-Mail and every member may contribute and cast a final vote on proposals.
Communications Objective
Consumer Advocacy & Media Relations To provide ongoing resources that help consumers understand their policy rights and the obligation of insurers. To garner public awareness of automotive repair issues and to establish a vibrant and effective media presence.
**NCIA is not a non-profit organization. Instead NCIA pays taxes on its income to avoid the typical association bureaucracy and bottlenecks, allowing NCIA to operate effecitvely and efficiently.
